Ty�skentelyni l�ht�kohtana on paikan luonteen kunnioittaminen. Ty�skentelytapani perustuu maiseman sis�ll�n analysointiin. Ymp�rist�taideteokseni ovat osa ymp�rist��n materiaalin, muodon tai sis�lt�ns� kautta. Usein teokseni sijaitsevat v�litilassa, erilaisten ymp�rist�jen kohdatessa, ja pehment�v�t siirtym��. Teokseni tavoittelevat harmoniaa. Pyrin esteettisyyteen. Teokseni muuntuvat ja el�v�t osana maisemaa. Ty�skentelytapani kunnioittaa luonnon monimuotoisuutta. Haluan s�ilytt�� maisemassa historian piirt�m�n luonteen ja j�tt�� tilaa my�s tulevaisuudelle.

My inspiration in environmental art comes from the character of a site. My first interest when planning my art is to study the qualities of the specific place I am interested in. I seek to disciver the characteristics of the place by my personal observation, feeling the movements and following the signs of people in a landscape. I try to become a part of the place in ordes to understand it's nature and connect with it's own unique spirit. My environmental artworks become a part of the place through the use of materials, form and content. I seek to create a harmony by the combination of these elements. My aim is that my art may stay as a part of the beauty of nature, always growing and changing. As an artist, I work in a region that lies between the landscape of men and the landcape of the wilderness. My purpose in singning a place is to make the transition between these two regions as gentle as possible. I respect the history of the place by keeping my signs soft - I wish to borrow this space for a moment, understanding that time has run before me and will continue to run after I am gone.
