Is the essence of a human being the same trough ages and different cultures? What does it consist of ? Kanto's work is based on fundamental questions of philosophy. A completed concrete sculpture is like a future archaeological finding of modern time. She combines stones, porcelain, feathers, and glass, steel with concrete. Kanto does not use model, but her subconscious combines memories and associations of different faces and pictures in to an idea of sculpture.
